Smartphones have found a new calling in cardiac rehabilitation, encouraging people to complete their post-heart attack treatment. Joshua Gliddon reports. The Challenge: Encourage GPs to join GP Partners’ PCEHR trial as one of the first wave sites.
The Approach: GP Partners uses an ehealth system to connect GPs for secure information sharing.
The Outcomes: By June 30, 2012 all patients in GP Partners’ catchment area will have a PCEHR if they want one.
