Radiology goes mobile

Queensland software developer I-Med Network have pulled back the curtains on a free radiology viewing application for Apple’s iPhone and iPad devices.

“Doctors that are registered with the I-Med Network can log in and see their radiology images regardless of where they happen to be,” said Justin Mottram, general manager of I-Med Network in Queensland. “It’s a real winner for doctors and clinicians who happen to be on the road, or visiting patients in their homes,” he added.

The application is available for free from the Apple App Store.
